Chinese New Year Eve!

On Chinese New Year Eve, I celebrated it with my mum, dad, two sisters, boyfriend, boyfriend's friend (Lap), mum's friend (Aunty Elsie), my younger sister's friend, my aunty and my uncle. My boyfriend, Lap, and I played PS2 and watched a movie while waiting for dinner to be served. First, we had 'Lo Hei' which means 'Prosperity Toss' - this dish is served during ths festive season. We then had dinner together as a group, chatting and laughing away (with the exception of my shy boyfriend and his friend).

As we started getting quite bored, Mahjong became our entertainment for the night. The players were me, my boyfriend, Lap, my sister, my sister's friend, my mum and my aunty. We took turns! I won the most times, which made me feel rather shocked at my Mahjong playing skills. Before we left, my parents and aunty handed some red packets to us for Chinese New Year. In total, I had $100 AUD and $28 SGD, which was pretty good (considering the fact that we don't celebrate the festive season).
